The first Thanksgiving was held in 1621 in Plymouth, Massachusetts to give thanks for the abundant harvest. Over 400 years later, Thanksgiving is consistently ranked as America’s favorite holiday.

Maybe it’s because everyone can celebrate in their own way. Whether you have a 10-course feast with all the trimmings or you simply enjoy the solitude of a November day, Thanksgiving can mean different things to different people. The common denominator is gratitude.
