We are seeking a Security Shift Leader to become an integral part of our team. The Security Shift Leader assists the Security Manager in coordinating and directing the activities relating to the protection, and security of the company.

• Location: Philadelphia, PA
• Base Pay: $16 hour
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Vacation
• Shifts Available:11:00 am – 7:30 pm, 7:30 pm – 4:00 am
Fri-Sat: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
Sat-Sun: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
Essential Functions:
The Security Shift Leader functions as a team leader of Security Guards assigned to one or more posts on-site; acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and Managers in emergency situations.
• Assist in ensuring all the rotation responsibilities of the Guards are being met
• Ensure staff are at the right locations for rotation
• Completing the tasks required at each rotation
• Make sure staff are in proper uniform
• Training new hires on policies and procedures
• Regularly updated and trained in changes of policies or practices
• Maintain and update logs

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing on a regular basis. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This position has no Manager responsibilities.
Environmental Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally patrol outside in all weather conditions. The position is also required to patrol the warehouse and will be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. Exposure to a combination of normal office, outdoor, and warehouse environments.
